Living in the Monadhliaths

Calluna ranged around the Monadhliath mountains from Dunain river to Coignafearn and north to Farr

May 1st to 16th

Settled in Monahliaths

Calluna is settled in the upper Dulnain catchment, especially around the proposed Allt Dhuinne wind fam site, and some wandering into Coignafearn.  Yesterday it was good to see the government getting concerned about windfarms in National Parks and wildland/scenic areas – about time!

April 24th to 29th

 

Back to Monadhliaths

Calluna was near Fort Augustus on 10th and 11th April, then flew to the Monadhliaths and settled agao

in in upper Dulnain watershed

April 10th to 23rd

Creag Meagaidh flew east to settle Upper Dulnain valley

March 29th to April 9th

Calluna was at Creag Meagaidh on 29th March and flew to Dalwhinnie and loop up to Glen Roy and next day east across Coignafearn to setlle in upper Dulnain where she remained ,mainly in proposed wind farm area until 9th April

General wandering

Calluna was in the Glendye to Glen Tanar areas 11th – 14th March, then back to Loch Builg area and Inchrory before flying SW on 21st to the south side of Ben Macdhui and then in the western part of Mar

March 10th to 21st

 

From Mar back to Loch Builg

After being on Mar Estate, Calluna flew east on 14th and 15th and returned to the Loch Builg area

February 11 – 25

Glenfiddich to Mar

Calluna was in the Glenfiddich/Glenlivet area to February 8th, on later date was near a very ancient eyrie site in Glenfiddich, and also in proposed windfarm area. Then flew back to the Loch Builg area and there until 12th, when she flew SW, being south of Derry Cairngrm at 11am and roosting in plantations at west end of Mar Estate by 4pm

February 5th to 13th

Headed away to the Cabrach

Calluna remained in the och Builg area from 28th Januray to February 4th, when she moved  north and at 8am on 5th February was near conifer plantations at the Cabrach
