Unsure of what is happening

Vega’s transmitter gave some signals this morning but not accurate ones – she has been out of contact for a long time and one possibility was that she was incubating eggs on a dark ledge. This would mean the transmitter battery was not being charged, especially during such a miserable rainy grey summer.  We need a few days of sun to try to sort out the situation.

Vega is still living in the same  area although she flew 20 kms west up Glen Shirra in the Upper Spey on 27th March.

Vega has been roosting Newtonmore to March 8th, living in mountains to the NW and flying north to Coignafearn in the day, with a round flight to Dalwhinnie on 28 February.
